An Agent Built Around Real Customer Work

Sierra builds customer-service agents for enterprise workflows. Its official year-two review points to jobs such as real-estate search, mortgage applications, and subscription management rather than presenting the product as a generic chat demonstration.

Those tasks require an agent to interpret intent, use business information, take actions, handle exceptions, and hand off to a person when needed. The commercial unit is therefore a measurable piece of customer work, with rules, permissions, and an observable result.

The Reported Growth Milestones

Sierra’s official review, published on February 6, 2026, says the company reached $100 million in ARR seven quarters after launching in February 2024. It then describes the company’s first $50 million quarter and says Sierra entered its third year with more than $150 million in ARR.

These are different metrics: ARR is an annualized recurring-revenue measure, while the $50 million figure is a quarterly figure. The page does not present them as profit or as audited financial statements. Public materials do not establish that Sierra uses APIToken(https://apitoken.company/).

Why the Workflow Matters

The same review argues that successful enterprise AI starts with a clear job to be done. Narrowing the problem makes it possible to design guardrails, evaluation, and reliability around a real business process instead of treating a model demo as the product.

For another AI product team, APIToken(https://apitoken.company/)can be used as a controlled interface for a small real request, an isolated project key, usage records, and a budget boundary. That workflow does not imply any relationship between Sierra and APIToken.
