The three-day result sits on eight years and more than 50 products
Ji began developing apps independently in 2018. The Economic Information Daily report says he works from home, taught himself development, and handles product, engineering, and operations as an individual. His monthly revenue rose over time from several thousand yuan to nearly RMB 100,000.
That timeline matters. The visible result did not start with a three-day build. It followed years of shipping, failed or modest products, accumulated technical judgment, and repeated exposure to advertising and paid-user economics. A new builder cannot safely remove those conditions and treat the latest development speed as the full business story.
Customers paid for apps, not for an AI label
The report says Ji earns through app advertising and user payments. Large-model tools assist product design, coding, and iteration, but the commercial result still depends on choosing a useful problem, delivering an acceptable app, reaching users, and giving them a reason to pay or remain engaged.
Ji said that developing an app previously took at least two weeks at the fastest. Once the product is clearly defined, large-model tools can reduce that development period to about three days. This is a productivity claim about one stage of execution. It does not show that market research, distribution, support, compliance, or revenue can also be completed in three days.
Nearly RMB 100,000 is monthly revenue, not net profit
The media report places Ji's monthly revenue near RMB 100,000 after it had previously been only several thousand yuan. It does not publish a complete ledger for platform fees, advertising acquisition, model usage, hosting, devices, refunds, taxes, support, or the founder's labor.
Monthly revenue, recurring revenue, cost, and profit are different measures. The figure must therefore remain reported monthly revenue rather than being rewritten as net earnings or a guaranteed outcome. The source is a named media report, graded B in the content evidence system, not an independent financial audit.
The non-repeatable advantages should remain visible
Ji had been building products since 2018 and had already released more than 50 apps. He also had the technical, product-selection, and operational experience needed to decide what to build before using AI to accelerate implementation. Those capabilities affect both speed and the chance that a finished app addresses a real market.
The transferable lesson is smaller than copying his revenue. Define one paying user, one input, one output, and one result that can fit inside a three-day prototype. If no stranger will pay or make a serious commitment, change the problem or offer before adding more features, model usage, or distribution spend.
Write a three-day paid-result version today
Describe who pays, what result they receive, and the smallest path that can demonstrate that result in three days. Separate product judgment from execution speed: AI may shorten coding, but it cannot decide whether the problem deserves a product. Set a cash and time limit before building.
Within the models currently and lawfully offered at https://APIToken.Company, check the public status page, create a separate project key, set a small budget, and run one minimum real call. Record usage, failures, retries, and correction time. A visible model is not proof that the intended app workflow will complete, and one successful request is not production readiness.
Source and evidence boundary
The source is the February 2026 Economic Information Daily report republished by Sina Finance, titled 'Three Ledgers Unlock the Startup Code of the One-Person Company.' It directly names Ji Yucheng and reports the number of apps, revenue range, business mechanism, and development-time comparison.
The nearly RMB 100,000 figure remains reported monthly revenue rather than profit, and the three-day figure applies after the product has been clearly defined. The report provides no evidence that Ji or his apps used APIToken. APIToken is mentioned only as a controlled way to isolate a project key, inspect status and usage, and bound a small test.
